Tahnee Watson

Tahnee is a director of Douglas Cheveralls Lawyers, and has been practising as a lawyer in Western Australia since 2014. Tahnee has experience in providing advice in a wide range of strata issues, and representing both owners and strata companies in the State Administrative Tribunal, including advice and representation about: structural changes and alterations to a lot or common property; boundaries of a lot or common property; by-law interpretation and validity (and disputes about these issues), as well as by-law consolidation and drafting; disputes with developers and builders (for example, arising from negligent work or issues arising during construction); and recovery of unpaid strata levies and legal costs. As well as her experience as a lawyer, Tahnee also has a personal understanding of strata issues in practice, having owned and lived in a strata complex (and participated on the council of owners) for a number of years.
