Starting out as a carpenter and residential builder, before obtaining a Bachelor of Construction Management & Economics (Hons), Michael has 25yrs construction experience from high-end residential new-build to large scale industrial and commercial building/services upgrades. Following over 10yrs delivering projects for some of Australia’s largest property/asset owners, Michael since founded Valen and returned to the residential sector as a Client-Side Project Manager/Consultant aiming to help Owners navigate the endless challenges caused by deficient design and construction practices, and the ever-changing legislative landscape.
