Eduard Ferreira

Eduard is a director at Douglas Cheveralls Lawyers in Subiaco and has been practising as a Barrister and Solicitor for 28 years, both in Australia and abroad. He and the other directors at Douglas Cheveralls have extensive experience representing clients as counsel in the Supreme and District Courts and before SAT in trials, applications, and appeals concerning a diverse range of matters, including strata titles, construction, property, insurance, corporate and contract proceedings. Eduard has an innovative approach and has found solutions in complex commercial cases and transactions where favourable outcomes seemed unlikely. He and the other directors at Douglas Cheveralls Lawyers strive to find cost-effective outcomes for clients and have been exceptionally successful in negotiating favourable settlements. Eduard is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, the Australian Insurance Law Association and the Society of Construction Law Australia. Eduard is studying for a Master of Laws at UWA. He has received the prize for the top student in 2 subjects and achieved honours or first-class honours in all other subjects completed to date. Outside law Eduard competes in triathlons and half marathons and plays tennis and golf on a social level. He participated in several cycle races for charity and is involved in his local church.
